Gussie up your favorite spring hat and head to the Southport Community Building for the NC Maritime Museum at Southport's fundraiser on Sunday, May 24. From 2 until 5 that afternoon there will be garden vignettes by local nurseries and garden accessories merchants. Live music will be playing while you enjoy wine and beer tasting or tea. Door prize drawings will be held throughout the event. A prize will be given for the best hat, too. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at the NC Maritime Museum at Southport or at the Southport Visitors' Center.
