Brunswick County- A View from the Bridge
Brunswick Little Theatre will present BEEHIVE: THE 60'S MUSICAL, a musical revue, at Franklin Square Park, downtown Southport, NC, at 8 pm May 22-24, 29-31. The show briefly gives some of the history behind the music of female artists, both solo and groups, from the late 1950's through the early 1970's. Some artists include Lesley Gore, Connie Francis, Annette Funicello, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Petula Clark, Lulu, Grace Slick, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, and Tina Turner. The show is free to the public, but donations are ENTHUSIASTICALLY accepted. Bring a lawn chair, sit under the stars, and enjoy the music.
